I am Brian, coffee roaster and founder of Bean Goose Coffee. I am passionate about Speciality Coffee and take great pleasure in developing unique roast profiles for each coffee to bring out its best qualities. Bean Goose Coffee’s aim is to bring Speciality Coffee to as many people as possible, spreading the good news about this affordable luxury and helping you find and brew your perfect cup of coffee.

High quality beans, freshly roasted. Brian carefully selects the finest quality coffee beans from Africa, Latin America and Asia and hand-roasts them to maximum deliciousness at their micro-roastery in the Laufental, just south of Basel. We think your coffee should always be: Freshly roasted. Freshly ground. Freshly brewed. We are passionate about freshness, so we roast every week and dispatch the coffee to our customers as soon as possible after roasting.
Bean Goose Coffee only selects and roasts Speciality Coffee, which means that the coffee meets defined high standards of quality and complexity of taste. Taste profiles range from hazelnuts (Mogiana from Brazil) to dark chocolate and tropical fruit (Cauca from Colombia). Our single origin organic coffees (all Arabica beans) are roasted in the medium to dark range, where we aim to achieve a smooth optimum balance between acidity and sweetness. We also brew each coffee using a range of methods so we can advise their customers on how to get the best result from matching the coffee with the way they brew at home.
We developed our range of high-quality organic teas in response to customer demand. The selection encompasses favourites such as Earl Grey (ours comprises a black tea from Vietnam, flavoured with bergamot oil), herbal tea (with sea buckthorn, fennel, nettle leaves and orange), fruit tea (with lots of berries) and a chai for those cold days of winter. Each is selected for its high quality and outstanding taste profile.
